Went on a Sunday 7pm the place was in soft opening yet fully packed! we kicked things off with roti canai — crispy and simple with sauce — plus the gado-gado. Loved the jicama and cucumber with that sweet peanut sauce. The peppery basil fried rice was spicy and not greasy at all. Rock salt and green chilies gave it a good kick, with blanched veggies, corn, and celery mixed in. Indian mee goreng was a bit sweet for my taste, but still decent. The fried banana icecream was ok. Solid meal all around. Would go back.

Went to try it out since there aren’t many Malaysian/Singaporean options in the Bay Area these days. Curry mee was decent, Hokkien mee tasted good (though portion was a bit small), and prawn mee was ok. Dining area is also quite small and tight; fills up quickly during peak hours and weekends. Will give them another shot when they’ve had more time to fine tune things, but overall will go again.

We tried this new Malaysian restaurant on Barber Lane, same complex as the Koi Palace. The food is very authentic and tastes like dishes back in South-east Asia. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is good to see some new South East Asian restaurants in the Bay Area. We really liked the taste of the dishes and the selection on the menu is just right and it covers the popular dishes from the region. The restaurant is small and gets crowded past noon time. If you are looking for some Malaysian/ Singapore food, Mari Mari is a good place to try.

Awesome! Finally a Malaysian restaurant that's more authentic! I can't believe it when I see they have "Belacan" fried rice! 🤤 I ordered so much food! And loved them! Curry Mee, Indian fried noodle and the. Belacan fried rice was AMAZING! Roti Canai was good but I think we need a different kind of dipping sauce (dhal curry, chicken curry?) I will try more of their food!

The environment is clean and tidy. The food is incredibly delicious and flavorful—clearly a restaurant run with genuine care and passion. They serve filtered water. The staff are friendly and patient, taking the time to introduce the various Malaysian dishes. I will definitely visit again to try more items on the menu.
